JTBA Announces 2019-2020 Season Schedule!

Pikeville, KY…..The JTBA has announced it’s 40th Year anniversary Season Schedule. The schedule will feature 11 regular season events. The Kick-Off event will be held Sunday, August 4th at Southwyck Lanes, in Toledo, Ohio. Followed by a “SPECIAL” non-points event on Saturday, August 17th, at Turkeyfoot Lanes, in Akron, Ohio. It is going to be team tournament with 3 singles games to determine the teams, otherwise, you will not know who you are bowling team with, until you bowl 3 games of singles, thus the “Mystery Team” name. After the 3 games of singles, teams will be formed using a Hi/Low format. There will be 2 divisions (Boys & Girls). More details to come! Then on Sunday, August 18th, we are back at Spins Bowl Akron, then onto Beavercreek, Ohio for August 31st, Midwest USA “ELIMINATOR” Tournament, followed by the JTBA Wright State event on Sunday, September 1st.

On September 14th, we are back to Skyline Bowling Center, in Galipolis, Ohio for the STORM Next Level Clinics. There are 2 sessions this year, session 1 at10:45 AM and session 2 at 3:15 PM. This years clinics feature PBA Members EJ Tackett & Marshall Kent, and USBC Gold Coach Ron Hatfield! The cost of the clinic is $79.95. Sunday, September 15th it will be The JTBA/Ohio Valley Bank Youth Open, again with $1000 Guaranteed first place in each of the 4 JTBA divisions. To Close out September, we are at Poelking Lanes South, in Dayton, Ohio for the Muskingum University Youth Open.

On October 20th, the JTBA will hold it’s annual Adult/Junior Doubles event at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes, in Canton, Ohio. The event will be sponsored by The University of Pikeville.

November 17th, we are back in Struthers, Ohio at Holiday Bowl, to close out the first half of the season, as High School Bowling will be the main focus for most youth bowlers in Ohio for the next few months.

March 8, 2020 it’s the “WELCOME BACK” COLUMUBS YOUTH OPEN, sponsored by RKH COACHING & Mr. Ron Hatfield.

April 5th it’s the Annual JTBA/LOURDES UNIVERSITY Junior Doubles. The event will again be hosted at Rebman Recreation, in Lorain, Ohio

April 25th, it’s a Non-JTBA event, The 7th-12th Grade High School Doubles, will hold 2 squads on Saturday. Then Sunday, it’s the JTBA/CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY YOUTH OPEN, both of the events for the weekend will be held at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.

May 3rd we will be back at Colerain Bowl, in Cincinnati, for the JTBA/Northern Kentucky University Cincinnati Youth Open.

Finally, our 40th Championship Event will be held again at Sequoia Pro Bowl, Columbus, Ohio on May 23rd & 24th.

Joining the JTBA for the upcoming season is $40 and entry fees remain at $65 for all singles events.

Make sure you post a picture of yourself with your bowling/education desires on the JTBA Team App, if you already have not done so.

Again, all JTBA events will be Junior Gold Qualifiers for the 2019-2020 Season.

The schedule will be updated over the next few weeks, with new sponsors and added scholarship money from the JTBA for the first half (August-November) of the JTBA season.

College Coaches regularly attend and sponsor our events and the JTBA, over the past 3 years has awarded over $185,000 in SMART Scholarships!
