22 Aug 2020 by Kyle Wilson

Pikeville, KY…..The JTBA unveiled it’s new scoring program at the 41st JTBA-Henson Bowling Academy Kick-Off Tournament on August 9, 2020. The new system significantly speeds up event result, scores are entered after each game and game by game results are available in a matter of minutes upon conclusion of a game. In addition, you can now log onto bowlmetrix site and see who is entered in each event.

How to get hooked up:

1. Go to: www.bowlmetrix.com
2. Set up an account
3. To find out who is entered in future events, you can use this link: https://www.bowlmetrix.com/upcoming_tournaments
4. Look up name of tournament and select. Then you can see who is entered and what division they are entered in.

Also, if you are interested in assisting gathering scores up at JTBA events, let me know, and I will have you added to our list of authorized scorekeepers. The process is simple:

1. At the end of each game, scan the barcode on your lane monitor sheet, with your smart phone. This will bring up the monitor sheet on your phone and allow you to enter scores after each game. No more having to turn in the monitor sheet after 3 games, but rather at the end of the 5-game block.
2. Each event will have a barcode for event results, specators can scan the barcode to bring up the tournament results.

The Bowlmetrix program allows us to quickly upload SMART Scholarship info to USBC.

If you have any questions or issues getting hooked up with Bowlmetrix, just email me and I can walk you through issues.

You can currently get information on the Sunday, August 30, 2020 JTBA event at Spins Bowl Akron. The August 29th event, will be addded later this week.
