JTBA Bowlers fare well at the 2022 Junior Gold Championships!

Grand Rapids, Michigan…..The JTBA was well represented in Match Play for the 2022 Junior Gold Championships, held at various bowling centers in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. 3 bowlers qualified for the TV finals, with 2 of those 3 actually winning their respective divisions championship and earning a spot on the Jr. Team USA Squad.

The U12 Boys division was won by Isaiah Durflinger. Miles Gordon qualified for match play as the 2 seed.

In the U15 Boys division, 3 JTBA bowlers qualified for match play, Roman Caporale (9th seed, Quinn Dean (10th seed), & Aidan Furukawa (16th seed)

In the U18 Boys division 3 JTBA bowlers qualified for Match Play. Hayden Tarris qualified 14th and ended up making the TV show as the 2 seed, Carter Street qualified 1st & ended up finishing 2nd to Brandon Bohn, the 2022 Junior Gold U18 Champion. Carter lost, but not before exciting the TV crowd by bowling what is believed to be the 1st 300 game on TV for a youth bowler at a National Tournament.

Jillian Martin, won the U18 Girls Division & Brenna Hartzler qualified as the 10 seed for match play.

There were many other JTBA bowlers who made the advancer and final advancer rounds of their respective division.
