Pikeville, KY…..The JTBA has released the 2023-2024 Tournament Schedule. Henson Bowling Academy (HBA) will again be our season sponsor. Thank you to Bill Henson, of HBA for your continued support of the JTBA.

The 44th season kicks off on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at HP Lanes, Columbus, Ohio. August 20, we are back at Spins Bowl Akron, then Labor Day weekend we have the 2023 ELIMINATOR on Saturday, September 2, 2023 (Non-JTBA Event), then on Sunday, September 3, 2023 it’s the JTBA-Wright State University Raider Youth Classic. September 10th we are in Gallipolis at Skyline Bowling Center. September 9, thee will be a Next Level Clinic. Flyer will be released later this summer. October 1, we are in Dayton at Poelking Lanes South. October 15, 2023, we are at Roseland Lanes, Oakwood Villiage, Ohio for the 2023 JTBA-UPIKE Adult/Junior Doubles. That will wrap up the first half of the JTBA season, as we break for the Ohio High School Bowling Season.

The 2nd half of the season will get underway on March 10, 2024, it’s the 2024 JTBA/RKH Coaching Welcome Back Youth Open at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, in Columbus, Ohio. April 6, 2024 we will be at Wayne Lanes for the 3rd Annual JTBA 5-Person Baker Team Challenge at Wayne Lanes, Wooster, Ohio. April 7, 2024, it’s the JTBA Junior Doubles Event, held at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes, Canton, Ohio. April 28, 2024 we are at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl for the 2024 JTBA Columbus Youth Open. Final event of the 2023-2024 season will be held May 11-12, 2024 at Park Lanes, Heath, Ohio. The 44th Annual JTBA Championships. We are announcing a new format for event. On May 11th, we will bowl (2) 4 game blocks on a Short/Medium Pattern. Then Sunday, we will bowl 4 games on a Long Pattern. Each Division will be cut to the top 4, 8, or 16 bowlers, based on the amount of bowlers in each division. They will bowl a Single Elim bracket 2 game total pin matches to determine a champion.

Just a reminder that you must be a JTBA member in good standing and have bowled in 5 of the regular season 10 events to be eligible for the championships. If you are short of the 5 events, you can buy-in to the event at a rate of $22 per event missed. All buy-in funds are put in the event SMART scholarship fund.

The JTBA again will operate Junior Gold Qualifiers. Divisions are U18 Boy’s, U18 Girl’s, U15 Boy’s, U15 Boy’s, U15 Girl’s, & U12 Boy’s/Girl’s. Please note we must have a minimum of 4 bowlers in a division to award 1 Junior Gold spot. We award spots on a 1:4 ratio and we do allow buy-ins.

Membership to the JTBA is $40. By joining the JTBA you save $10 per event, as Non-Members pay $10 more.

The following divisions: 18U Boy’s, 18U Girl’s, 15U Boy’s, 15U Girl’s, & 12U Combined.
